The lecture/discussion areas include the wellness concept, nutrition and support system of the body (cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, musculoskeletal and nervous) function. Upon successful completion of the course, students will understand the physiological adaptations that occur following exercise training, the benefits of exercise and the health risks associated with inactivity.
