Students will refine their listening skills by engaging with authentic English-language TV news, improve their speaking skills through discussions, and develop their writing skills by responding to the materials presented. Additionally, the course will help students navigate a broad range of topics and issues in broadcast media. The course also aims to foster students' critical thinking abilities, enabling them to analyze stories from both traditional and new media and assess their credibility. Throughout the course, students will have opportunities to explore strategies for navigating the challenges of misinformation and deepfakes in the digital age.
