時間割コード 31675 時間割コード 30773 授業の目標概要 なぜ、ある国々が特定の科学技術に長けているケースがあるのか？資源が豊富な国々の中でも科学技術・イノベーションの速度が異なる理由は？イノベーションの阻害要素となるものは？この授業では科学技術・イノベーションと政治の相互作用について、科学技術・イノベーション研究をスタート地点とし、政治学の分野を融合するかたちで検討する。日英両方のリーディング課題とプレゼンテーションを通して、テキストの読み方（論点や研究手法の整理）を学び、今後の研究活動に活かせるスキルを伸ばすことにも取り組む。 o科学技術・イノベーションと政治の相互作用について、どういった議論が展開されているのかを理解すること o科学技術・イノベーション研究分野の基礎的な用語や分析の枠組みを理解すること o学際的な視点からの議論を身につけること 学期末レポート、日本語2,000字程度または英語1,000字程度 (pass or fail): 100% 教科書は使用しない。／Will not use textbook 第一回授業日に行う。／Will conduct guidance at first time 成績評価方法 教科書 ガイダンス 授業の目標概要 成績評価方法 教科書 ガイダンス 開講 科学技術・イノベーションとＳ ポリティクス 開講 Introduction to Qualitative Ｓ Research Method: Interview This course is designed to familiarize students with qualitative research method, particularly focusing on interviews used in sociology, anthropology, educational studies, and other fields in social sciences. From Week 1 to 4, we will learn what qualitative research is, how it is used and designed in social science research through reading assignments and lectures and discuss its significance and limitations. From Week 5 to 13, we will learn how to conduct research using interviews. We will also actually conduct interviews and analyze data, by establishing a common theme in the entire class, developing interview questions, recruiting collaborators, and conducting the actual interviews. Then, we make interview transcripts to analyze. On Week 13, each students is expected to give a presentation about the findings of the data. Students will be able to - understand the basic theories involved in what qualitative methods are and how they are practiced - critically discuss the significance and limitations of qualitative methods, and - conduct interviews with attention to research ethics.
