Students will create and deliver powerpoint presentations in class which will then be discussed and evaluated. In addition to classroom exercises and homework assignments, students are encouraged to listen to English on their own as well. We will also explore how ideas of social inequality in future societies is represented in films. Through learning and discussing these issues, students will develop their comprehension and communication skills in English. The course is designed to help you learn and understand important sociological issues, in English. You will learn new vocabulary, and also practice your English discussion and presentation skills.
