時間割コード 31164 時間割コード 31165 講義題目 授業の目標概要 講義題目 授業の目標概要 開講 授業科目名 英語中級（クラス指定Ｓ セメスター型） 開講 授業科目名 英語中級（クラス指定Ｓ セメスター型） 「翻訳」とその他英語スキルに関する2,3の事柄 英文和訳とは異なる「翻訳」実践をとおして英語スキルを磨くためのクラスです。 また「翻訳」を題材に、教養前期課程で学んでおきたい英語スキルも合わせて扱います。 具体的な作業・スキルは以下です。 1, 英語による文学テクスト（短編小説や戯曲、シナリオや歌詞なども含む）を正確かつ丁寧に読むことができる（英文精読）。 2, 文学テクストを適切に表現できるような日本語を作り上げることを目指して作業できる（翻訳）。 3, まとまった（1000 words程度）の英文を読み、簡潔な日本語で要約することができる。 4, TOEFLなどで必要とされる、300 words程度の英文を正確に速く書くことができる。 5, リスニング・スピーキング技術を向上させるトレーニングの方法がわかる。 なお90分授業の枠組みで行うが、授業開始前15分間は学生有志を対象に、質問の受け付けや、英語の発音トレーニングなどを行う予定。 Let's Read and Discuss The aim of this course is to help students improve their reading skills in English, through a range of student- centred activities designed to stimulate responses and promote as much social interactions as possible online, including pair/group work and discussion. We will read (extracts from) a selection of short stories written by contemporary authors, including but not limited to the ones published in magazines such as The New Yorker and Granta.
