A lot of people find these activities stressful, especially if the language that is used is not their own first language. This course aims to give the participants practice in making and responding to oral presentations in English. Each student will make three English-language presentations during the course and all students are expected to participate actively in class discussions. 時間割コード 時間割コード 時間割コード 開講 授業科目名 （クラス指定セメスター型） 「翻訳」とその他英語スキルに関する2, 3の事柄 また「翻訳」を題材に、教養前期課程で学んでおきたい英語スキルも合わせて扱います。 具体的な作業・スキルは以下です。 1, 英語による文学テクスト（短編小説や戯曲、シナリオや歌詞なども含む）を正確かつ丁寧に読むことができる（英文精読）。 2, 文学テクストを適切に表現できるような日本語を作り上げることを目指して作業できる（翻訳）。 3, まとまった（1000 words程度）の英文を読み、簡潔な日本語で要約することができる。 4, TOEFLなどで必要とされる、300 words程度の英文を正確に速く書くことができる。 5, リスニング力を向上させるトレーニングの方法がわかる。 開講 授業科目名 （クラス指定セメスター型） Improving English Language Presentation Skills 開講 授業科目名 （クラス指定セメスター型） Gender and youth in Japan ジェンダーから見る日本の若者 The aim of this course is to enable students to read and critically engage with academic articles written in English about gender issues. In class, students will discuss topics related to Japanese youth, namely gender, sexuality and bodies.
