総合科目 Ｌ 英語中・上級 時間割コード 50021 Ａ 50022 Ａ 50023 Ａ 講義題目 授業の目標概要 プロフェッショナルとして、将来にわたって世界の人と英語を使って協働することを目標に、実践的な英語使用の考え方とスキルを学びます。プロフェッショナルとは、研究・専門職、ビジネス、公務員、国際協力など、多様なフィールドで、高度な専門性をもって仕事をする人を想定しています。 英語を多様な文化・国籍をもった人とコミュニケーションする共通語として使うことをイメージし、１）グローバル社会の英語の役割、２）プロフェッショナルとして英語を使うための基本的な考え方とルール、そして３）英語を将来にわたって長期的に学び、使うための英語学習方法、の３点を学びます。 授業では、ケースやタスクを使い、実際に英語を使って英語の表現や話し方を練習し、実社会で英語を使うための基本的スキルを習得します。 英語のコミュニケーションに重要なリスニング力の強化を、授業外学習で自律的に行います。 講義題目 授業の目標概要 Sociology of Education and Technology The proliferation of technologies being sold both for educational purposes and to education institutions is often heralded as a means to empower learners, expand access to knowledge, and address inequality. However with this expansion comes the increasing entanglement of public education with private interests, issues of privacy and surveillance, the pedagogical challenges of educating for critical media literacy, and the reproduction of inequalities by the ‘digital divide’. In this course we will take a sociological perspective to explore these and other issues in the rapidly evolving world of EdTech. We will engage with leading scholarship in the field, representations in the media, and our own educational experiences to explore both instructor-and student-directed topics. Students will develop skills in academic reading, writing, presentation, and discussion. 英語発音演習―発音力から聴解力へ― 講義題目 授業の目標概要 この授業では英語の発音力を磨いて聴解力の向上を目指します。発音練習（音読）は、模倣からのみでなく、音声学の理論（特に、IPA：International Phonetic Alphabetや音声変化）やシャドーイング、オーバーラッピングの手法を用いて行います。また、応用言語学に基づく英語学習の方法も随時紹介し、自学自習ができる能力を養成します。 プロフェッショナルのための共通語としての英語 Communicating in English as Professionals Christopher D.
