全学自由研究ゼミナール 51460 51348 授業の目標概要 私たちは、息をするのと同じくらい自然に言語を話しながら生活しています。しかし、日常生活からメディア、政治に至るまで、ありとあらゆる場面で言語は私たちの生活に大きな影響を与えているのです。この授業では、言語と社会とのつながりについて、東京カレッジの２つの研究テーマ（「2050年の人文学」と「デジタル革命と人類の未来」）と関連づけながら学びます。そして、言語学という分野を通して、多国籍、デジタル化、多言語社会への取り組み、人文科学の未来など、デジタル時代に不可欠な様々なトピックについて話し合いましょう。 【学びの目標】 ▪現在言語学においてどのような問題について議論しているのかを理解すること ▪言語学、社会言語学、計算言語学の概念と用語を基本的的なレベルで理解すること ▪学際的な視点から言語に関連するローカルおよびグローバルな問題を議論できるようになること ▪自分が興味を持つ特定の分野で使われている言語の特徴や問題について議論できるようになること We often use language like air – without even realizing it is there. However, from everyday life to media and politics, it is difficult to overstate how powerful language can be. In this seminar, we will explore the connection between language and life through the lens of two of the research themes of Tokyo College: Humanities in 2050 and the Digital Revolution and Future of Humanity. With linguistics as our anchor, we will consider a variety of topics, including linguistic diversity, digitalization, transnationalism, and the future of humanistic thought.
