講義題目 授業の目標概要 講義題目 授業の目標概要 講義題目 授業の目標概要 講義題目 授業の目標概要 総合科目 Ｌ 英語中・上級 英語中級（クラス指定セメスター型）火1 30277 30278 30279 30280 時間割コード 時間割コード 時間割コード 時間割コード 開講 (クラス指定セメスター型) 国際人口移動の基本概念と現代世界の諸課題 この授業のテーマは、国際人口移動です。2019年当時、世界の「移民」は世界総人口の3.5パーセントに相当する2億7千万人、日本に暮らす「外国人」は国内総人口の2.3パーセントに相当する290万人と推計されていました。COVID 19 は、加速の一途をたどるかに見えたグローバルな人の移動に立ち塞がると同時に、現代の世界において国境や国籍が持つ意味を突きつけたと言えるでしょう。この授業では、国際人口移動に関するテキストに基づき、移民とは誰を指すのかといった基本的問題に始まり、様々なイシューについて考えてみましょう。 指定テキストの英語レベルは、概説書や新書に相当します。前提知識がない読者を対象とした、初学者向けのアカデミックな英語を読解した上で、自分の見解を論理的に口頭・文章で表現することができるようになることが目標です。 開講 (クラス指定セメスター型) Discussing Contemporary Society with Critical Theory この授業の目標は、現代社会における様々な問題を英語で批評的に考え、議論できる素地を作ることです。ナショナリズムやレイシズム、ジェンダー、ポストコロニアル、環境、ケアといった批評理論の英語で書かれた／英訳された基礎的文献に触れ、そこから得られた知見を活用して、現代社会で起こっている出来事をどのように捉えられるかを議論します。 開講 (クラス指定セメスター型) Gender and youth cultures in Japan ジェンダーから見る日本の若者文化 The aim of this course is to familiarise students with gender studies with a special focus on youth cultures. In class, students will discuss topics related to Japanese youth, namely gender and sexuality. Students will also collect data online on a topic covered in class. このクラスでは、日本の若者文化について英語で書かれた学術文献を読みます。内容は、ジェンダー・セクシャリティ等です。また、授業で触れた内容について実際にオンラインでデータ収集をします。 開講 (クラス指定セメスター型) Global Issues in Action: Tasks that Work 1. To better understand global issues and discuss them in English. 2. To share personal opinions, views, feelings, and experiences. To succeed in this course, you must get out of your chair and actively discuss global issues with partners, in small groups, and with the whole class. You will be asked to improvise, role play, hold debates, give presentations, and engage in other forms of structured discussion in English. The tasks in this course are designed to deepen your learning by nudging you out of your comfort zone. When you complete this course, you will have gained knowledge about the world, practical skills in using the English language, and experience in speaking out. The global issues of focus (poverty, nuclear threats, environmental issues, violations of human rights, and inequality) are selected to broaden your perspective by drawing your attention to different parts of the world.
