We also often need to know how to respond appropriately and constructively to presentations by others and take part in discussions. A lot of people find these activities stressful, especially if the language that is used is not their own first language. This course aims to give the participants practice in making and responding to oral presentations in English. Each student will make three English-language presentations during the course and all students are expected to participate actively in class discussions. Grades will be calculated according to this system. Attendance is required and you will lose 1% each time you are absent or late to class.
